Additional In-House Resources
We have several resources available to students at our offices
throughout the year. All are free unless otherwise noted. Here is
a quick snapshot of what we have to offer:
Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (LASSI)
This is an electronic, web-based analysis available to you to discover
your strengths and weaknesses in study skills. It is an 80-question
test covering your knowledge, skills, and perceptions in: attitude,
motivation, time management, anxiety, concentration, information
processing, selecting main ideas, study aids, self-testing, and
test strategies. At the completion of the test, you are given a
2-page report that details where you need to improve and what you
can do to improve.
To take this free test, a Student Academic Support Services (SASS)
staff member to receive your password. The results remain confidential
unless you choose otherwise.
