Financial Aid

A USP education is an investment that yields countless benefits over a lifetime. At USP we do all we can to make this investment affordable for qualified students. Approximately 95 percent of students receive some form of financial aid to help cover the cost of tuition at USP.

The financial aid program of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia provides assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and part-time employment for students whose resources are insufficient to meet the cost of education. The financial aid staff reviews all applications and awards assistance in the forms and amounts most appropriate to the needs of the student based on his or her financial need. This website will describe the processes used to determine financial need, the application procedures, the University policies on financial assistance, and the types of financial aid available.

If you have applied for admission, we suggest that you submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form so you can be considered for financial assistance. To be considered for any type of financial aid, the FAFSA must be completed. The FAFSA may be completed online (visit www.fafsa.ed.gov). Alternately, to request a paper FAFSA (to apply by mail) call (800) 4FED-AID, and press "0" for a customer service representative.

For more information, contact the USP Financial Aid Office, (215) 596-8894.
