Earlier this month, University of the Sciences’ Samson College of Health Sciences earned its membership as Chapter 80 of the Alpha Eta Society.
A national scholastic honor society for all allied health professions, students joining the ranks of Alpha Eta represent the top 10 percent of scholars from various allied health institutions. With 80 chapters boasting more than 25,000 members nationwide, the Alpha Eta Society promotes recognition of scholarship, leadership, and influence in allied health.
To qualify for eligibility, an institution must hold regional accreditation and include three or more clinical allied health programs. Samson College of Health Sciences offers numerous programs of study including health science, occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician assistant studies, and exercise science and wellness management.
In addition to its undergraduate options, Samson College sports one of only five direct-entry Doctor of Occupational Therapy programs in the United States, as well as the only based on the East Coast.
