The Fourth Annual USciences’ Got Talent on October 9 sang, danced, and entertained its way to raising $1,134 for the Go4theGoal Foundation. Over 200 students, faculty, and staff came to support the 18 contestants as they showed off their talents at the event put on by the Student Recreation Committee. Go4theGoal Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps kids with cancer live normal lives and reach their goals.

"I love USciences' Got Talent because it allows students, faculty, and staff to show that there's more to our school than just science. We have really creative and talented people, and it's refreshing to take a break for a night to showcase that,” said Danielle Hoguet DPT ’16, the event chairperson. “Plus, it's for an awesome cause. The fact that we are raising money for children with cancer is what motivates me to make USciences' Got Talent a success.”

This year’s winners included:

  • Carolyn Hoke DOT’18 won first place with her beautiful renditions of Lady Gaga songs.
  • Joe Keglovits PharmD’15 and Pat Connaghan PHB’14 came in second with their creative medley of past and present musical favorites.
  • Anika Fanlo PharmD’19 danced her way to third place with her unique contemporary hip-hop style.
