Dr.
Reinsmith has been teaching classes at University of the
Sciences since 1974. He has instructed courses in philosophy,
ethics in health care, argumentation and critical thought
and intellectual heritage. His research interests include
philosophy of education, pedagogical methods, curriculum
design, humanism in health care and humanism in Western
Civilization. He has written numerous publications on
teaching, including a book he authored titled, Archetypal
Forms in Teaching (1992).

In
1975, he was one twelve people selected nationally for
the Carnegie Mellon Doctoral Program in English. He was
the recipient of the 1989 Lindback Award for Distinguished
Teaching. He is a member of several professional associations
such as the American Association of Philosophy Teachers,
Association for Informal Logic and Critical Thinking and
the College English Association.
